Where are the class locations?
Class locations are indicated with the course information. See our School Locations page for directions.
What are the class starting dates and times?
Starting dates, times, and number of sessions are indicated in each course description.
Please understand that our instructors have commitments after class. Late fees will apply for children picked up more than 5 minutes after class. Late fees are: $10 for 5 minutes after class; $20 for each 15 minute increment thereafter.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, VISA, and checks made payable to Westport Continuing Education.
What schools have disabled access available?
Disabled access is available at all of our schools.
Can non-residents of Westport take your continuing education classes?
For our Adult programs and Summer Camps, both residents and non-residents are welcome to register for any WCE class.
How do I register?
You must register prior to attending a class. There are four different ways you can register for our classes:
1. Online:
To register for any of the classes through our secure registration system, click on the “Add Class” button. You will be taken to a page which will allow you to register through a secure server for that specific course. Before checking out, register for additional courses if desired. For your convenience, a profile will be created on each student which will expedite future registrations.
2. By Phone:
Call us at (203) 341-1209, and we will happily process your registration. Registrations can be placed over the phone for an additional $35 fee per registrant.
What if the class I want to take is full?
We will let you know right away if the class is full and will be happy to tell you about other classes we think may be of interest to you. Please sign up for the wait list in case a spot opens up. Also, some classes are offered more than once during the year.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are available in certain situations only. Click here for information.
Are books and supplies included?
Course descriptions indicate when materials are included in the class fee or if there are additional book or materials fees.
Is prior experience/knowledge required?
We offer many courses for beginners. If advanced skills are required, it will be clearly indicated in the course description. Some courses that require prior experience include technology courses, foreign languages, and others that are described as “intermediate” or “advanced.”
